Norton Elementary School in east Louisville will reopen Friday after a power outage forced the building to close due to having no heat Thursday.
Jefferson County Public Schools spokesperson Carolyn Callahan said power and heat have been restored in the building and classes will resume as normal.
Students who were being bused to the building Thuesday were rerouted to Wilder Elementary School, where parents had options for pick-up.

Callahan said the cause of the outage is unknown and isolated to the school.
