The Deep East Texas College and Career Alliance located on the campus of Jasper High School sponsors the Annual Career Day each year with the goal of introducing students to the field of emergency services and safety with the hope that might choose a career in that area.
Students from not only Jasper, but also surrounding towns come to the event with eager eyes and ears to learn about the many different fields such as police, fire, emergency medical and more.
Thursday marked the 5th year of the event and everyone was pleased with the turnout and participation.
