U.S. News & World Report released their findings for 2025-2026 Best Public High Schools.
The multifaceted digital media company annual review analyzed more than 24,000 U.S. public high schools with 411 New Jersey schools making the rankings.
Its analysis of the best public high schools uses several factors that includes college readiness, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance, and graduation rate.
According to the New Jersey Department of Education, the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments require high school students to be assessed in math, English, language arts and science.
Monmouth County high school in Lincroft, High Technology High School, ranks as the Best High School in New Jersey. Here are the findings for High Technology High School:
“High Technology High School’s curriculum is engineering-centric, with courses in civil engineering and architecture, computer-integrated manufacturing and digital electronics,” says US News.
