{KXLG – Watertown, SD} The Watertown Arrow Education Foundation wrapped up its annual Harvest fundraiser last night at the Watertown Event Center; that offered several silent and live auction items for people to bid on, and all help with the mission to provide resources to enhance educational opportunities for students in the Watertown School District.

The crowd heard from grant recipients Kiara Borkhuis for Flexible Seating to Promote Learning, Chad Rohde for Driver’s Ed, Tricia Walker for Professional Development, and Jenn Brist for Destination Imagination.
Aside from the silent and live auction items, there were other fun fundraising games, including a 50/50 raffle, raffle tickets for three purses with jewelry in one of them, a heads or tails game for a firepit, several cash prize winners, and the grand prize of the 2024 Yamaha Drive 2 golf car was Dale Vahlberg. The tickets were $100 each, and the Horning Family and Evolution Sports sponsored the golf car, or the winner had the choice of $5,000 “cash.”
