Over winter break, Juanita Beenyi ’26 explored the world of healthcare at an externship with Dr. Alexandra Kohn, a clinical psychologist at Cognitive Behavioral Psychology of NY.
Throughout her time at Bryn Mawr, Juanita has taken advantage of a number of opportunities offered by the Career & Civic Engagement Center. This past summer, she worked as a pharmacy technician in Winneba, Ghana. After two research-focused summer internships in past years, she decided she was ready for a more hands-on, clinical experience—something that would allow her to connect directly with patients and explore the human side of healthcare.
