3S Artspace presents two evenings of Boston Dance Theater’s Red is a feeling
PORTSMOUTH — 3S Artspace announced the return of Boston Dance Theater for a limited performance run of Red is a feeling, at 319 Vaughan St., Portsmouth. Two evenings of the contemporary dance program will be held on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the event at 7:30 p.m. both nights.
A journey through the complexities of human emotion and movement, the program of short dance works in Red is a feeling shares multi-faced expressions of love, longing, and the fight to live, woven together by the color red.

March at the Franklin Gallery
ROCHESTER — The Franklin Gallery at RiverStones Custom Framing, 33 North Main St., Rochester, will host “POSTED,” an exhibition of letterpress posters created by local artist Diane St. Jean. The exhibit will run for the month of March. An opening reception will be held Thursday, March 6, from 5-6:30 p.m. The public is invited.
Diane St. Jean’s posters reflect the upheaval caused by the Trump/Musk regime while also celebrating the power of individual and collective resistance. Each poster is printed one at a time on a vintage letterpress using antique wood type that is inked by hand. All posters will be available unframed.

NHAA announces March 2025 exhibitions
PORTSMOUTH — For the third consecutive year, the New Hampshire Art Association presents Fledgling: Artists Under 30, an exhibition dedicated to uplifting emerging talent. As part of NHAA’s ongoing commitment to fostering the next generation of artists, Fledgling has become a vital platform for young creatives to showcase their work and engage with the local arts community. Each year, the exhibition features artists from diverse backgrounds working across a variety of mediums, reflecting the energy and innovation of a new artistic wave. Juried by Amy Regan of See Saw Art in Manchester, NH who has worked with over 1,200 local, national, and international artists at all stages of their careers, in a variety of spaces, from local coffee shops to museums.
Fledgling: Artists Under 30 will be showcased at the Levy Gallery at 136 State St., Portsmouth, from March 7-30. The gallery will also host a networking event for young artists on March 20, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the same location.
NHAA also invites art lovers to experience Atmosphere, a soaring new exhibition that explores the boundless nature of air, light, and emotion. Running alongside Fledgling: Artists Under 30, this exhibit celebrates the skills of those who have mastered their creative skies.
