snowy Campus in winter Seton Hall University invites students to stay productive over their winter break
by enrolling in the 2026 Winter Session, which runs from January 2 through January
13, 2026. This accelerated session offers a variety of online and in-person courses,
giving students the opportunity to earn credits in just two weeks — an ideal way to
catch up, stay on track or get ahead in their academic goals.

Registration opens at 7:45 a.m., Monday, November 11, 2025. Enrollment is open to
current Seton Hall undergraduate and graduate students, as well as visiting students
from other colleges and universities.

Offering a diverse selection of courses, the Winter Session provides students the
opportunity to stay on track academically, delve into new areas of interest and make
progress toward their degree. With the flexibility of online learning, students can
continue their studies from anywhere with an accelerated schedule that creates an
immersive, personalized experience.

“Winter Session is a fantastic opportunity for students to accelerate their academic
progress in a concentrated format,” said Mary Kate Naatus, associate provost and dean of Continuing Education and Professional Studies. “With
offerings that range from Genetics and Introduction to Psychology to User Experience
Design, Ethics, Sociology or Crisis Communications, students can explore diverse disciplines
while staying on track toward graduation. Whether fulfilling a Core requirement, diving
into graduate-level business prerequisites, or engaging with the Catholic intellectual
tradition through courses like “Science and the Church,” Seton Hall’s Winter Session provides flexible, high-quality learning in an immersive
two-week experience.

Undergraduate tuition for the Winter 2026 Session will be at the standard 2025–2026
rate of $1,595 per credit, plus an $85 registration fee. Please note that Winter Session
is an independent term and is not part of fall or spring registration or tuition.
Additional financial aid is not available for this session, and students cannot file
for the FAFSA or receive federal or state aid, including student or parent loans.

Dean Joyce Strawser noted how beneficial it is for her students at the Stillman School of Business.

Winter Session offers an excellent opportunity for our business students and others
to make meaningful progress toward their academic and professional goals. Whether
you are completing an MBA proficiency course, exploring a business elective, or accelerating
your degree timeline, these condensed, high-quality courses provide the flexibility
and focus that students need to stay competitive and on track.

Courses will be available across multiple departments, including but not limited to:

  • Art and Design
  • Anthropology
  • Applied Computing
  • Art History
  • Asian Studies
  • Biology
  • Catholic Studies
  • Communication
  • Criminal Justice
  • Diplomacy and International Relations
  • Educational Studies
  • Finance
  • Healthcare Administration
  • History
  • Nursing
  • Philosophy
  • Political Science
  • Psychology
  • Religious Studies
  • Sociology
  • University Core

Additional courses may be added prior to the start of the session.

Whether you are looking to lighten your spring course load, graduate sooner or simply
dive deeper into a subject you love, Winter Session offers an efficient and engaging
way to advance your academic journey.

For more information about the 2026 Winter Session, available courses and how to register,
