Reba McEntire is going back to her country music roots, and the reason for it is one that fans are totally thrilled about.
The singer and actress is busy starring on Happy’s Place on NBC, but she is pulling on her hosting boots to emcee the 60th annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards. Back for the second year in a row, Reba went on Instagram to share the big news … along with another cool thing for fans to know. As the ceremony is set to air live from the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas on Thursday, May 8, 2025, she revealed that fans can already buy presale tickets so they can attend the event themselves.
“I’m returning to host the @ACMAwards this May and couldn’t be more excited!” she excitedly wrote in the caption on February 18. “Presale tickets for the show on May, 8th at @thestarinfrisco in Frisco, TX are on sale now! Use the code REBA at the link in my bio!”
When fans learned about The Voice alum‘s exciting career news, it was no surprise they were ecstatic about it online.
“Love it! It’s going to be a good show this year! Wish I could go @reba love that you are hosting again! 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” one person wrote in the comments. “Can’t wait to watch!! Sure hope you’re performing!!! Hint hint @acmawards 🙌❤️🔥,” another hinted. “❤️🔥 awesome can’t wait,” a different follower added.
Additional details about the 2025 ACM Awards haven’t been made public yet, but it’s cool to note this isn’t the first time Reba has helped host the festivities. Along with hosting last year, she also co-hosted the ceremony in 1986 (alongside Mac Davis and John Schneider) and solo in 2002.
“This year’s ACM Awards is a celebration sixty years in the making, and we plan to make it one of the biggest and best shows yet!” ACM CEO Damon Whiteside said in a statement, per Billboard. “With Reba at the helm as our host, we’ll be commemorating the legends of Country Music while honoring the biggest and brightest stars of today.”
Well, let’s get on our cowboy boots, because we’re ready to celebrate this milestone with Reba!
