The City of New Braunfels is inviting residents and visitors alike to participate in the creation of an Arts & Culture Master Plan as part of a new vision for heritage and creativity in the community. This effort, led by the City and the Master Plan’s Steering Committee, will serve as a roadmap for the future of arts and cultural development in New Braunfels. By celebrating and supporting local artists, cultural organizations, and creative spaces, the City hopes to build on the rich traditions and existing creativity in the community by creating an atmosphere that reflects the heritage, values, and culture of the New Braunfels community.
As part of the process, the City has launched an online survey to gather input from the public on how they would like to see the community celebrate the arts and cultural landscape of New Braunfels in the years to come.
“We want to cast as wide of a net as possible when it comes to envisioning the future of arts and culture in New Braunfels. Whether you’re an artist, a performer, a cultural advocate, or someone who simply enjoys experiencing the creative energy of our city, we encourage as many people as possible to provide their direction and input,” said Jeff Jewell, Director of Economic and Community Development. “The feedback we receive in this survey will directly shape how arts and culture are experienced, supported, and celebrated in New Braunfels.”
The public can take the survey and learn more about the development of the Arts & Culture Master Plan by visiting www.newbraunfels.gov/arts.
