Kelly Clarkson has kept us on our toes this year! The singer/mom/talk show host had an unexplained absence that sent her fans into a frenzy. She’s since returned and rumors of her departure from daytime TV have swirled. But, now, she’s releasing new music, and it’s going to take us a minute to recover.
Kelly has been teasing new music for a few months, telling Kylie Kelce on her Not Gonna Lie podcast that she’s recorded a song and a music video at her hometown in Montana. But now, she’s giving fans a bit more information and we could not be more excited.
The original American Idol took to Instagram to share what seems to be the cover of a new single called “Where Have You Been.” In the photo, Kelly is looking gorgeous and glowy, and she captioned the post “Soon.”
Now, we know what you’re thinking: That’s not much to go on, Kelly. But it’s enough to send her social media followers into a spiral. They ran to the comments section to write messages like:
- “LET’S GOOOOOOO 🔥👏”
- “OMG YASSSSSS!!!
EEEEEEEeeeeeeee… can’t wait!!!
So here for a new ERA!!! 🔥🙌🔥👏” - “GIVE IT TO US!!!!”
- “Oh this is EPIC ❤️❤️❤️”
- “WE HAVE BEEN #BLESSED”
- “NOT THIS SOON BUSINESS OMG”
- *SCREAMS*
- “WHENNNNN WHENNN WHENNNN”
We could go on, but you get the point! Kelly’s last album, chemistry, was released in 2023, so we can understand the excitement about the new release. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we have more information.
