TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Florida State University celebrated a new chapter in business education with the ribbon-cutting for the new Herbert Wertheim Center for Business Excellence.
A total of five floors and 220,000 square feet, the building is a game-changer for FSU’s College of Business, giving students and faculty access to state-of-the-art facilities that foster innovation and entrepreneurship.
The center is made possible by a $65 million donation from Dr. Herbert Wertheim, the second-largest gift in FSU history.
FSU President Richard McCullough and other university figures kicked off the celebrations this morning with a signing ceremony and ribbon-cutting. A public ceremony followed at 2 p.m. with building tours until 5 p.m..
