FOREST, Miss. (WLBT) – A student at Forest High School has passed away, the school district says.
In a post on Monday afternoon, the Forest Municipal School District extended its condolences to the family, friends, classmates, coaches, and teachers of Brystol Johnson.
Johnson, they said, died over the weekend. No cause was given.
“During this difficult time, we join together as a school community to honor her life and to support all who are grieving this heartbreaking loss,” the post read. ”Counselors are available at Forest High School to provide comfort and support to students and staff who may need someone to talk to as they process this tragedy.”
