The board is meeting Monday night for a work session to discuss turning April 13 into a weather makeup day. That’s the Monday after spring break.
The board will also take formal action to approve the amended calendar at the end of the instructional year.
FCPS has used four nontraditional instruction days from Jan. 26-29. The district’s snow days this year occurred Dec. 2, Dec. 12, Dec. 15, Jan. 30, Feb. 2-6 and Feb. 9.
Only March 20 has been confirmed as a make-up day for students.
This is a developing story.
