MASON CITY, Iowa — North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) is set to host Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) Open House events across North Iowa. These events offer adults the chance to explore free education and training options to support personal, academic, and career aspirations.
Attendees can learn about NIACC’s free services, including English language learning, high school equivalency preparation, digital skills training, and college-readiness support. Participants will meet instructors and explore class options.
The events will also showcase NIACC Workforce Academy programs, which provide short-term job training to build in-demand skills and connect learners with local job opportunities. These open houses are ideal for those looking to improve their English, earn a high school equivalency diploma, enhance digital skills, or explore new career paths.
All open house events will be held from 2–5:30 p.m. at the following locations and dates:
