NEW FRANKLIN — The Manchester Local Schools Board of Education approved several routine items during the June 17 meeting. Those items included the Medicaid School Program Agreement between Healthcare Process Consulting Inc. and the district, an agreement with Northeast Ohio Network as the educational technology service provider and a service agreement with Kids First/Transition Opportunity Program for Students for educational services for the 2025-26 school year.
The board also approved the student lunch meal increase for the upcoming school year, which is an increase of 15 cents, and accepted donations totaling $9,882 from the high school weight room life-a-thon to add equipment.
Board member Joe Hercules reported that the new roof has been installed on the former Nolley Elementary School building, which will eventually serve as the district’s administrative offices.
