Forget about Nash-Vegas, Dolly Parton is headed to the Strip!
On Monday, June 23, the 79-year-old country phenom took to Instagram to announce that she’s returning to Las Vegas for a can’t-miss residency aligned to kick off the holiday season.
“Grab your rhinestones, Vegas is calling! ✨ I’m taking over The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with Dolly: Live in Las Vegas, a limited-run engagement from December 4-13. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, June 25th, at 10 am PT!”
Dolly’s upcoming limited-run residency marks the “Jolene” singer’s first performances in Sin City since her stint at the Mirage Hotel some 32 years ago, per Rolling Stone.
Naturally, diehard Dolly fans and fellow celebrities can hardly contain their excitement for the chance to see the “Backwoods Barbie” take the stage amongst the iconic Las Vegas Strip.
“Ohhhh, I need to be there,” Jessica Simpson commented. “There goes my 401K,” an eager fan wrote. “Seems like a good time to take a trip to Vegas,” singer Margo Price weighed in. “What in the Dolly Parton world is thiiis????? Miss Dolly on stage again? This will bring world peace bc if it doesn’t, I don’t know what would,” someone else exclaimed.
Dolly is equally jazzed about the chance to return to the Vegas stage. “To say I’m excited would be an understatement,” she shared in a press release. “I haven’t worked Vegas in years, and I’ve always loved singing there. I’m looking so forward to the shows in The Colosseum at Caesars, and I hope you are as well. See you there!”
As if catching Dolly live isn’t enough of a treat, the book lady (one of her favorite nicknames, we’ll have you know) is also offering various VIP packages, two of which let fans meet and take photos with Dolly herself. Now the only question is, which will you choose? You’d better mark your calendars and prepare to act fast: These tickets and packages are bound to sell out.
As the Visit Las Vegas Instagram account so aptly said: “Viva Las Dolly!”—and may the Ticketmaster luck be ever in your favor.
