Students, staff and faculty members from Penn State’s College of Education share recent research and career achievements.
- Erica Frankenberg, professor of educational leadership and demography, is quoted in an article in News From The States, “70 years after Brown vs. Board of Education problems persist.”
- Jeffrey Hayes, professor of education (counselor education), authored a new book, “College Student Mental Health and Wellness: Coping on Campus,” published by Emerald Publishing.
- Kelly Rosinger, associate professor of education and public policy, is lead author of two new policy briefs: “Designing state funding formulas for public higher education to center equity,” published by Brookings; and “Test-optional admission during the pandemic and implications for college selectivity and enrollment,” published by the NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling.” In addition, Rosinger co-authored an op-ed in Inside Higher Ed, “Do Colleges Have to Go Back to the SAT?”
- William Rothwell, distinguished professor of education (workforce education), wrote an op-ed for the Centre Daily Times, “Opinion: Achieving real diversity, equity and social change means going beyond in-house initiatives.”
