People of the Tehachapi Community Church have created a labyrinth. A labyrinth, unlike a maze, has a single path in and out. It is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness, combining the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. It represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world.
Tehachapi Community Church, UCC (TCC) is at 100 E. E St., on the corner of E and Green streets in historic downtown Tehachapi. Especially during this Easter season, TCC encourages you to come walk our labyrinth. It is in the concrete patio area between the sanctuary building and the hall. It is available to the public any time.
And we invite you to attend our Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome!
Laurie Rude Betts is with the church.
