CeeDee Lamb is an American professional football wide receiver who plays for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners as a consensus All-American in the year 2019, and was drafted by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. The Dallas Cowboys chose him in the first round using the 17th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. He was the third wide receiver chosen in that draft, behind Henry Ruggs of the Las Vegas Raiders selected 12th overall, and Jerry Jeudy picked 15th overall by the Denver Broncos.

Born in 1999 in Opelousas, Louisiana, CeeDee Lamb grew up in New Orleans before moving to Houston, Texas after Hurricane Katrina. He played high school football at John and Randolph Foster High School. In 2016, he led his team to a 14-1 record and earned All-State honors for the season. He attended the University of Oklahoma, where he played college football.
As a redshirt freshman in 2017, he had 46 receptions for 807 yards and seven touchdowns. In 2018, he helped the Sooners to a 12-2 record and a playoff berth. Dallas Cowboys selected Lamb in the 2020 NFL Draft with the 17th overall pick. He signed a four-year contract and had a great rookie season, making 14 starts and 74 receptions. In 2021, Lamb had a team-high 79 receptions, 1,102 yards, and six touchdowns. The Cowboys went to the Wild Card Round but lost to the 49ers. Lamb was picked for his first Pro Bowl as a replacement for Cooper Kupp.
Lamb greatly improved in 2022, catching 107 receptions for 1,359 yards and nine touchdowns. He was selected to the Pro Bowl for the second time in his career and also earned All-Pro second-team selection. The Cowboys qualified for the playoffs and defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round.
In 2023, Lamb set career-high figures with 135 receptions for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns, breaking Michael Irvin’s Cowboys franchise record. Despite being eliminated in the Wild Card Round, Lamb was named to his third consecutive Pro Bowl and All-Pro first team.
