– Bradley Union School District will host its first Career Fair on Friday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bradley School, 65600 Dixie Street. The event invites students, families, and community members from Monterey and San Luis Obispo counties to explore career opportunities and professional pathways.
The fair is designed to connect local schools, industry partners, and sponsors while providing students with opportunities to explore potential career paths and learn how their education aligns with future goals. Participating schools and districts include Bradley Union School District, Lillian Larsen Elementary, Cappy Culver Elementary, San Ardo Union School District, San Antonio Union School District, and San Lucas Union School District.
“This event is a celebration of collaboration, bringing together schools, families, and industry leaders to inspire and support career pathways,” said Superintendent and Principal Josh Van Norman. “We’re thrilled to provide this opportunity for our community. Thank you to all of our participating vendors and school districts for committing to this event, our sponsors for their support and generosity, and to Bradley parent Mrs. Heidi McLenithan for organizing such a fantastic opportunity for students.”
The fair will feature interactive booths, hands-on demonstrations, networking opportunities, and information sessions to help students engage with industry professionals and learn about career options and required skills. The event aims to bridge classroom learning with real-world applications.
