SpaceX launched another rocket into space from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Monday night.
Bradley Davis of Goldsboro sent us the headline image (see above) shortly after the launch.
We first told you about this during Monday’s 9 a.m. newscast on FOX 50. Despite a less-than-ideal trajectory, some of us still caught a glimpse of the rocket’s vapor trails Monday night. The launch took off from Florida’s Space Coast with a trajectory farther southeast.
The timing, however, was ideal. The launch was around 8:50 p.m. Monday, and the sun set here about an hour beforehand.
Check out some of your photos!
The setting sun to the west, combined with the curvature of the earth, allowed some of us to see the launch in our eastern sky.

It certainly helped if you live in some of our eastern counties with an unobstructed view.
