Designed for recent college graduates, the Master in Management (MiM) program equips young professionals with foundational business skills and confidence to pursue their dream careers. Known for its student-centered, collaborative culture, Kellogg has helped open doors and accelerate careers to nearly 70,000 alumni who make up its global network.

Curiosity, excellence and persistence are some of the qualities that characterize MiM students — and their energy is contagious. Research shows that sitting next to high performers can actually boost a person’s productivity.

Meet four current students who share how MiM is not only clarifying their career goals but also empowering them to lead a purpose-driven life.

Medha Romee Maitra ’26 Master in Management

Career focus: Change management, consulting
Hometown: Atlanta

“The close-knit community at Kellogg has truly been one of the greatest gifts of my academic journey. I’ve never been in an environment where people show up for one another with so much sincerity and kindness. My classmates celebrate the small wins, check in on each other during the hard weeks and create a feeling of belonging that makes even the busiest days feel lighter. Their encouragement has made me braver in the classroom and more confident bringing my full self into conversations and projects.

“At the same time, Chicago’s energy has been electric and an exciting place to spend time with friends! There’s something about walking through a big, vibrant city with a community that already feels like home. The mix of possibility, creativity and warmth has pushed me to try new things, meet people I never expected to meet and build friendships I know will last far beyond this program. It’s been such a joyful, grounding and genuinely transformative journey so far and I cannot wait to see what the future brings!”

Ella Marshall ’26 Master in Management

Career focus: Brand marketing
Hometown: Fort Lauderdale, Fla

“The most transformative part of my MiM journey so far has been the connections I’ve made, both with my classmates and my professors. The close-knit community has allowed me to form friendships with other MiM students I am sure will last a lifetime. I’ve also had the opportunity to get to know my professors quite well, and they’ve all demonstrated a sincere interest in my success.

“For example, my marketing professor suggested I join the Kellogg Marketing Club. I ended up being the only MiM student to compete in the Annual Kellogg Marketing Competition, where my group placed second — that never would have happened without his guidance. Every professor reminds us that they want us to succeed, and they all go out of their way to make that happen. I feel very supported in MiM, so I have far more confidence in my ability to be successful both during and after the program.”

Marco Talini ’26 Master in Management

Career focus: Finance
Hometown: Pistoia, Italy

“Coming from a small city near Florence, Italy, I now find myself in one of the best U.S. cities: Chicago. The location makes attending Kellogg an even better and bigger opportunity. The city is big but manageable, which gives you the chance to create strong and deep connections within the industry you want to work in.

“The caliber of faculty at Kellogg is part of what makes this school so reputable. They teach intuitively, pulling from their own experience as business leaders — many of them are former CEOs, CFOs and COOs. The student community and alumni network are also what makes this school as prestigious as it is. I’m surrounded by people who are directing companies, governments and organizations around the world. This is why Kellogg is the place to be for leaders. I would like to thank my mentor and friend, Bruce, for introducing me to the world of Kellogg.”

Annabel Child ’26 Master in Management

Career focus: Life sciences consulting
Hometown: Oakville, ON, Canada

“Prior to Kellogg, much of my leadership experience revolved around athletics. The MiM program has expanded my horizons in the characteristics that are crucial in both athletic and business environments, as well as the facets that are especially imperative in the professional world.

“As I look to enter the next professional phase of my life and thanks to what I’m learning throughout the program, I’m tethering my decision-making to my values to ensure that I can positively influence my surroundings. I’m also feeling more empowered to become the best version of myself.

“A key learning from my Marketing Management course is that success is a function of one’s goals. I know that I must critically investigate my purpose to set myself on the most fulfilling life path from a career and personal standpoint. I believe that grounding your goals in this self-reflection, encouraged by our Leadership Development course, and being passionate about what you do allows you to be the best leader you can be.”

Explore the MiM experience

If you’re a recent college graduate looking to gain a solid foundation in business, accelerate your career and be a part of a global network — MiM is designed for you. Learn more about the program’s rigorous curriculum, collaborative culture and world-class faculty can help you achieve your career ambitions.

All MiM students are eligible to apply for deferred admission to the One-Year MBA program, with top graduates automatically admitted after graduation.
