Welcome to the second annual TechZone360 Tech Podcast Awards, a celebration of the remarkable contributions of tech podcasts that empower, educate, and entertain. These awards honor outstanding content creators, hosts, and guests. We’ve listened to all of these podcasts – and many others – and are highlighting a few episodes here to give you a sense of why we think these podcasts are worthy of a listen.

Most of these podcasts are available on multiple platforms – Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube Music (formerly Google Podcasts), Podbean, and others – as well as their own websites. We have included a link to their site or one of the many platforms; please look for them on your preferred platforms as well.

Congratulations to this group of winners! We have enjoyed listening and look forward to many more of your engaging and informative conversations.  Winners are listed in alphabetical order.

Bridging the Gap

Bridging the Gap is a great watch for leaders and innovators in construction that are helping drive the trends and technology shaping the industry. On Episode 282, How to Design, Make, and Innovate, host Todd Weyandt interviewed Dara Treseder, Chief Marketing Officer at Autodesk. On this episode, Dara explained how Autodesk AI is transforming industries – allowing you to design buildings and cities and see how people will flow through – similar to how AI has caused a revolution in the consumer world of image and video creation. On Episode 281, How to Create a Circular Economy of Water, guest Alan Pyle of WaterFleet, LLC discusses the critical nature of water management in construction, the successful implementation of water reuse systems in WaterFleet, and the endless potential of concepts like emergency preparedness and continuous water treatment.  This episode was lower energy than 282, but this just shows Todd’s ability to adapt to the energy level of his guest. This is a quality construction podcast, worth a listen to a wide range of people responsible for building our future.

First Contact: Stories of the Call Center

The podcast First Contact: Stories of the Call Center is centered around the unique and often unexpected career paths of tech leaders and entrepreneurs in the contact center and customer experience (CX) industry. Its objective is to share compelling stories that explore business journeys, relationships, and the everyday experiences of people in this sector. Hosted by Christian Montes, the podcast delves into various topics, such as technology, leadership, recruitment, and customer and agent experience.

On the episode titled The Loneliness Epidemic – How CX Can Bridge the Gap, Christian interviews Nate Brown, CX Accelerator co-founder, who discusses the crucial role of transparency and co-creation in deepening customer relationships and how these efforts can lead to sustainable success.

On the episode titled Empowering Women and Event Success in Lead Generation: Sara Malo, the VP of Partnerships at Lead Generation World, President of LinkUnite, and a leader at Contact.io shares her experiences in breaking through barriers in a male-dominated industry, empowering women, and redefining the event space in the digital age.

The host, Christian, is extremely knowledgeable. He adapts on the fly to guest answers and extracts a great amount of actionable knowledge from them. This is a great listen for execs in the contact center and CX, and anyone in business who wants to learn how to expand their careers and grow their companies.

Ingram Micro B2B Tech Talk

The purpose of the Ingram Micro B2B Tech Talk podcast is to keep listeners informed about emerging technologies and business trends before they become mainstream. Whether you’re an IT professional, CIO, tech investor, or computer science student, the podcast offers valuable insights to help you stay relevant and succeed in the tech industry. Hot topics include IoT, cloud evolution, augmented reality, AI, and improving ROI.

In addition, you get a great read on what’s happening in the world of Tier One tech providers, such as Cisco, IBM and Fortinet. On the episode titled Exploring Palo Alto’s Pre-Packaged Bundles, host Shelby Skrhak speaks with Palo Alto’s Meghan Mack to learn about exclusive bundles consisting of hardware and firewalls targeted for different customer sizes. The idea here is Palo Alto isn’t just for the enterprise. On the episode titled Exploring IBM Cloud Capabilities, Shelby speaks with Bill Sheeran, IBM account manager at Fortinet, and Juan Dos Santos, partner technical lead of IBM cloud ecosystem at IBM, about IBM’s recent security report and next generation firewalls – what they are and how they protect against modern threats. We really like this podcast – it’s a must listen if you want to learn the inside scoop on keeping companies efficient and running smoothly. Ingram Micro’s access to top speakers from leading companies really makes this a must-listen.

Now That’s IT: Stories of MSP Success

“Now That’s IT: Stories of MSP Success” explores the inspiring journeys of trailblazers in the managed service provider (MSP) industry. Each episode, hosted by Chris Massey, showcases how these innovators harnessed their passion for technology to transform managed services into a thriving sector. The primary goal of this podcast is to empower MSPs by sharing the experiences of leading figures in the industry. Listeners gain actionable knowledge they can apply to their own businesses, enabling them to build and grow effectively in a competitive landscape.

On the episode titled Thinking Bigger: Alex Stanton on Leadership, Innovation, and the Future of IT, they dive into the challenges MSPs face today, from rising cyber insurance costs to the evolving expectations of tech-savvy clients. Alex offers his perspective on how MSPs can move beyond commoditized services to become strategic partners for their clients. Plus, he introduces his latest venture, Think Purple, and its mission to solve organizational challenges through human-centric digital transformation.

On the episode titled Achieving Rapid Growth with Cybersecurity & Service: Paul Cashmore’s IT Evolution, Paul Cashmore, co-founder of Solace Global Cyber, explores his journey of transforming a traditional MSP into a leading MSSP. Paul shares how his passion for cybersecurity and a service-first mindset fueled rapid growth, while also addressing the challenges MSPs face in today’s evolving IT landscape.

We like this podcast because of the intense focus on the managed services space. With all the opportunity available to MSPs, having a regular vehicle where you can listen and learn is invaluable.

Stay Sharp with Razorleaf

Stay Sharp with Razorleaf is the ultimate podcast for all things digital in the manufacturing industry, tackling the digital thread, digital twins, IDEs, model-based strategies and PLM, MES, Integration, and more. The co-hosts, Jonathan Scott, and Jen Ferello, provide an essential resource for staying sharp and well-informed.

In episode 54, Navigating PLM Complexity – Multi-System Strategies for Success, Jen and Jonathan dive deep into the intricacies of managing multiple Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems within an organization. They explore the reasons why a business might have multiple PLM systems and break down key patterns like federated systems, hub-and-spoke models, and peer-to-peer structures. We learned a lot; Jen asked great questions and, together, she and Jonathan get you up to speed on why multiple PLM instances might make sense.

Episode 49: Why Do I Need a Project Manager? was great as well. The co-hosts were joined by Melissa Bussard and Jeff Meyer to debunk the myth that project managers only manage schedules. In fact, they emphasize a good project manager keeps teams aligned, manages resources, and fosters relationships to ensure they smooth project execution.

The podcast is good because it takes complex topics and distills and explains them without being boring. It’s a great listen for construction and engineering execs.

TeleGeography Explains the Internet

TeleGeography Explains the Internet welcomes experts from huge telecos and small regional providers alike. You’ll hear from data center professionals and tech startups.

We checked out episode 606: When Networking and Security Collide and were impressed with the interview of Marcel Stadler, Product Manager of SD-WAN at Open Systems. TLDR: Senior Manager Greg Bryan is an amazing host – he understands tech, is a veteran in the space and he has an amazing radio voice with a cadence that keeps you interested. He also segues well between his guest’s answers to the next question. We also checked out episode 604: Who Orchestrates the Orchestrators? because we thought it was a boring topic and wanted to see if it could be made interesting. The guest was Jamie Pugh, CTO at Globalgig. The conversation was pretty smooth and interesting – Greg makes the hosts feel comfortable – is not pushy and the result is a podcast that allows you to rapidly understand complex tech topics without making you feel sleepy.

The 443 – Security Simplified

WatchGuard’s CSO Corey Nachreiner joins Director of Security Operations Marc Laliberte to form The 443 Podcast. With over 40 years of collective cybersecurity experience, Marc and Corey dissect the latest cyber threats and explore cutting-edge security technologies. They have an engaging format – its more like a TV show than a podcast – replete with video. Episode 312 The Age of AI-Powered Scams was a solid listen, delving into bug bounties and how Chinese government agencies, receiving exploit data, used it as an attack vector. It is a great listen for people in tech, including IT leaders and teams, MSPs, carriers, and many others.

The subject matter is not consumer-based but it could still be instructive for typical computer users to have a listen. Episode 316 Our 2025 Security Predictions was great as well. In it, we learned malicious use of multimodal AI will create the entire malicious attack chain. This is an amazing podcast for those protecting organizations. It goes deeper than typical articles you might read, with lots of explainers, as needed, to ensure you can follow along with new threat vectors, etc. Frankly, we wish the subject matter was easier for the ordinary user to understand but, as hackers have become more sophisticated, it is important that there is a team you can tune into to keep up to date with the latest threats.

Watch This Space

Watch This Space is an important podcast in the Future of Work, communications and CX space. It follows the travels and observations of leading independent analyst Jon Arnold. The podcast is especially important because Jon has access to industry events and travels to many of them, giving you a constant view on what is happening in tech, UC and contact centers. His co-host is Chris Fine and they have a nice rapport.

We checked out Takeaways From Fall Conferences – AI Evolution for EX and CX, Getting Workers Back to the Office, and Future of Work Expo Updates and got to learn about his activities at Verint Engage, a customer focused event, as Jon explained Verint’s focus on AI agents (bots) and more. We also listened to The Joys of Summer – How Streaming Found Its Voice at the Paris Olympics, and How Conversational AI is a CX Game-Changer for Utilities and it had a great focus on Olympics streaming via Peacock. Chris mentioned the content was highly searchable and the user experienced made things highly streamable. He feels we are at a streaming inflection point, which makes a lot of sense. The bottom line is this is a solid podcast if you want to keep current in numerous disciplines while staying entertained.
