This offseason, Doncic has taken it upon himself to lose the weight, culminating in a series of photos posted to social media on Thursday.
Many fans sounded concerned for the Slovenian superstar, coming up with new nicknames and calling him out for allegedly looking too skinny.

The photos were shared from Doncic’s Instagram by the page Bleacher Report which set off a chain reaction of comments.
Many wondered if Doncic had lost muscle because of his offseason transformation and accused him of not being in the proper shape.
“Aight he looks a lil too slim?” one reader wrote.
“I saw this picture and thought it was photoshopped,” another added with a crying face.
“No. He didn’t lose muscle mass with this. Man was 80% pudge last year,” a third said.

“Truthfully idk how I feel about this…” another added.
“Where is the muscle and toning? Is he fasting?” another surmised.
“That (man) smoking cigarettes,” another said.
“Ozempic does wonders,” another added with a skull emoji as numerous fans gave him Ozempic themed nicknames, based on the weight loss drug.
“Luczempic,” one added.
“Bro this is crazy,” another said.
Other fans thought the photos were made from AI programs because of the surprising transformation shown.

Doncic has undergone a new training regimen this offseason and has stuck to it, appearing much slimmer than he did during last season and the subsequent playoffs.
He has played racquetball sports to stay in shape and has taken time off from basketball to center his mind and focus on his physique without the added pressure of shot making.
Doncic signed a three-year, $165 million contract extension this offseason and now appears dead set on giving fans, owners and coaches their money’s worth.

He has shared the details of his dramatic weight loss transformation with the world, now fans wonder how it will translate to the court this offseason, preseason, regular season and beyond.
